1. Assignment and scope
The website form is for non-binding enquiries. An assignment is concluded only when both parties individually agree and confirm its scope and price by email or WhatsApp before work begins. ON IT Assist undertakes administrative, organisational, research and coordination tasks by individual agreement. The specific assignment, fees and any deadlines are agreed before work begins and may be confirmed by email or WhatsApp. ON IT Assist may decline assignments, particularly if they are unclear, disproportionately risky, unlawful or outside the services offered.
2. Prices and additional work
Depending on the assignment, a fixed price or time-based billing is agreed. The hourly rate and billing method are confirmed before work begins. Larger time-based assignments may receive a non-binding estimate. If substantially greater effort becomes apparent, ON IT Assist informs the client before undertaking additional work. Fixed-price assignments include only the agreed services; extensions are confirmed and charged separately.
3. Third-party costs and expenses
Fees, tickets, reservation charges, shipping, external services and other third-party costs are not automatically included in the service fee. Whether such costs may arise and their maximum amount are agreed individually for each assignment. Paid bookings or orders require express approval. Travel time, transport, postage and comparable expenses may be charged separately by prior agreement.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Advance or partial payment may be agreed depending on the assignment. Available payment methods are communicated when the assignment is placed and may include bank transfer, TWINT, PayPal or electronic payment links. Late payment generally results first in a reminder. A reasonable reminder fee may be charged for further delay; statutory default interest remains reserved. Ongoing or new assignments may be paused until overdue invoices are paid.
5. Client cooperation
The client provides all necessary information, documents and approvals completely and on time. The client is responsible for the accuracy of their information, their entitlement to share the supplied data and documents, and the lawfulness of the requested assignment. Consequences, additional costs or delays resulting from incorrect, incomplete or late information are generally the client’s responsibility.
6. Approvals and decisions
ON IT Assist may request written confirmation of important matters, particularly costs, bookings, appointments, sensitive information or changes to the assignment. When documents, forms, bookings or other results are submitted for approval, the client checks relevant information and deadlines before final approval. ON IT Assist may research, compare and organise options; the final decision generally remains with the client.
7. Third parties and representation
Within an assignment, ON IT Assist may contact providers, obtain information, request offers or coordinate appointments. ON IT Assist does not guarantee third-party prices, availability, quality or contractual performance. Without separate express authorisation, no contracts are entered into or terminated, and no financial or legally binding commitments are made in the client’s name. A separate authorisation is used where required.
8. Service limitations
ON IT Assist does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial, investment or other regulated professional advice. In these areas, ON IT Assist may offer organisational support, gather information or coordinate appointments. Banking transactions, payments in the client’s name and unlawful or abusive assignments are excluded.
9. Deadlines and availability
ON IT Assist works flexibly without fixed opening hours. Evening, weekend and urgent assignments are possible subject to availability; a surcharge for urgent work may be agreed in advance. If an agreed deadline is likely to be missed, the client is informed as early as possible. Delays caused by third parties, technical failures, force majeure or late client approvals are outside ON IT Assist’s direct control.
10. Cancellation and termination
An assignment may generally be ended at any time. Notice should preferably be given in writing, particularly by email or WhatsApp. Services already provided and third-party costs already incurred remain payable; services not yet provided are not charged.
11. Care, errors and liability
ON IT Assist performs assignments carefully and to the best of its knowledge but does not owe a particular outcome where this depends on third parties or external factors. If an error occurs, ON IT Assist should generally first have the opportunity to correct it within a reasonable period. To the extent permitted by law, any liability is limited to the value of the assignment concerned. Liability for indirect loss, consequential loss or third-party services is excluded to the extent legally permitted. Mandatory statutory provisions remain reserved.
12. Confidentiality and privacy
ON IT Assist treats client data and assignment information confidentially. Information is shared only where necessary to perform the assignment or required by law. Testimonials, case examples and other marketing uses require express consent. Further information is provided in ON IT Assist’s separate privacy statement.
13. External support
ON IT Assist may engage carefully selected external assistants or providers where needed. Only client data necessary for the relevant service is shared. Where relevant client data is disclosed to external parties, transparent information is provided and consent obtained where required.
14. Offers
Offers and individual price quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
15. Changes to these conditions
ON IT Assist may amend these conditions for future assignments. For assignments already confirmed, the conditions agreed when the assignment was placed generally continue to apply.
16. Applicable law
Swiss law applies. Mandatory statutory jurisdictions remain reserved.
